The United States has the third highest number of UCI teams with 12, compared to the 14 Italian and 15 French squads. For U.S.-based pro teams that are not registered with the UCI, registration as a USA Cycling Mountain Bike Domestic Pro Team is required in order to be tabulated into the Pro XCT Team Rankings.
